Another damn shooting...

I open Drudge just now and I see another defenseless school attacked by a crazy or evil man and now fourteen or more kids have been killed.

Well, my kids will never be subject to a school shooting since they are home schooled in my own home.  I hold to the truth that We, my dear Wife and I, are solely responsible for their raising, education and safety.  Handing your kids to the government to be raised has far too many dangers, from peer pressure, to drugs, to flawed teaching and ending with wackjobs with guns.

So, here's the message in the media today...

Lisa Bailey, a Newtown resident with three children in Newtown schools, told, “Newtown is a quiet town. I’d never expect this to happen here. It’s so scary. Your kids are not safe anywhere.

In other words, "Be afraid and get somebody to do something!"

In a moment, someone will step to a mike and demand that something be done.  Like more laws and violating honest and law-abiding people's Rights.  And there will be others ready to back that call.  None of them will take PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR PROTECTING THEIR OWN KIDS.  Believe me, NO AMOUNT of "Gun Regulation" will protect your kids from crazy or evil people.

You will see a media circus come out for this one, since "gun control" is on the menu for the next 4 years and generally, the message from .gov and the radical left is there must be a "monopoly of force" in the hands of the state, a view which I will resist to my last breath.

A commenter online pointed out to me that a majority of these shootings are by liberals.  He said, "We don't have a gun problem, we have a liberal problem."

  1. True enough. Good post. We can't say that if gun laws we more lax, this wouldn't have happened but it certainly would have given them more of a chance if some of the adults would have had a gun. Those children might still be alive.

  2. We need less G-d and more drugs while they take away those eviiiil guns.

    That should fix everything.

    Obey. Obey. Obey.
